Local Specialties & Wet Markets Kowloon
Visit wet markets from working class through to "fancy"
Service Description
Wet markets form a part of the DNA of HK life. In this tour we will start in Sham Shui Po, the beating heart of the city and it's going to busy! We will sample some local street delicacies before heading into the wet market itself. Not spending too long in this market as it will be hectic, we will then head over via MTR to a more "peaceful" (by HK standards) wet market where we slow down the pace and spend some time with the market vendors. From the pork vendor who butchers a fresh carcass each day, to the beef vendor handslicing local 'wagyu', to the array of live seafood, feel free to ask as many questions as you like!. Along the way we will of course be grazing on some of the classic HK and non-HK dishes. Itinerary: 1. Meet at Sham Shui Po MTR, area introduction (10 minutes) 2.
